As a professional entertainer for many years, I can tell you that the simplest effects in magic seem to have the greatest reaction and response from the audience. I think because too many magicians have gone for complicated sleights, moves and props that immediately indicate to an audience that there's trickery involved and they then become engrossed in trying to work out "how it's done" and lose sight of the entertainment value and FUN of Magic.
They tend to be blown away and amazed when impossible things occur with normal everyday items. In fact it appears like "real magic", that the lay person can't quite work out how it can possibly be done and so are simply amazed and entertained.
In this course I will try to take you from absolute beginner, all the way to a competent professional entertainer. You will be able to do simple but "Stunning" effects with ordinary items right from day one and gradually leading to a more prepared and routined professional act.
I have tried to explain things in our Videos as simply and as "down to earth" as possible. The Video Clips are slowly but surely improving as we go along, so I hope you can follow them and enjoy them in the spirit with which they are presented.
